A Parable About Entropy

Those wacky Germans. Some guy goes into a currency exchange and keeps converting his Euros into US dollars until there’s nothing left. I love a bit of absurdism in my lessons on international monetary conversion:

“And now, I would like to exchange these – to Euros.”
“We can cancel that.”
“No.”
“But you’ll take a loss on that.”
“Well, that’s the nature of things.”

FIrst of all he was Austrian…which is not German. And second…you didn’t do a good job explaining that. He trades 50 Euro’s for American and then converts the american back to Euros and so on.
