Angels in America Redux
Way back in August, I wrote about the Angels in America mini-series, and how fond I was of the plays that its based on. Apparently the two-part series airs on HBO in the States this Sunday and Monday. Unfortunately, seeing as I live north of the 49th parallel and lack a satellite dish, I don’t get HBO. Hopefully Bravo or some other enlightened Canadian network will pick this telefilm up. This may turn into one of those DVDs I have to buy.
If you do get HBO, don’t miss this. It’s got a remarkable cast, an excellent director, and is based on one of the finest plays of the last twenty years.
