Via BoingBoing, we learn that law professor and digital rights warrior Lawrence Lessig has a new book out entitled Free Culture. Lessig has been one of the most passionate and articulate speakers about digital rights and copyright law over the past decade. Inspired by another member of the copyrighterati, Cory Doctorow (who released both of his novels under a Creative Commons license), Lessig has released his book for free over the Web. Or you can buy it from Amazon. I’ve printed the first couple of chapters, and, as with Cory’s book, if I like it, I’ll probably buy a copy.
