Welcome Guest Bloggers

As it says at the top of the page, a number of veteran and noob bloggers have volunteered to post in my stead while I’m abroad. I fear that they may be so fascinating that I’ll lose all my traffic when I return.

Ultimately, we decided to bring a laptop along for the trip. We actually ordered a 12″ PowerBook, but Fedex has managed to lose it, so we’ll probably end up bringing Julie’s 15″. I do hope to post occasionally, but it will depend upon Internet access. I’m not optimistic about Wifi on safari, but you never know.

Have a great trip! Looks like the fort will be held down with gusto. Can’t wait for the pics – be safe, wear clean underwear. [/mom]

For Wifi access download KisMAC it should be able to decrypt a decently traffic’d WEP enabled AP in about 30-60 minutes.

Have good vacation/trip to both of you. Make sure you take lots of pics.

Or yeah….make sure you take your socks with numbers too.

Not much on my mind. I don’t care. I’ve just been letting everything happen without me , but shrug. Whatever. I feel like a void.

I come from a place where English is a learned or second/third language. I often find myself reading the daily papers with a highlighter in one hand marking grammar and spelling mistakes. It has become quite a pastime/hobby! Here, the MPs are elected to ‘save the nation’. They should know when to ‘appraise’ and when to ‘apprise’. There is time to be ‘quiet’ in Parliament while other times demand that they be ‘quite’ noisy.
The radio and TV interviews can be quite hilarious. Recently, one interviewee complained about people traversing the length and breath of the country ‘masquandering’ as journalists!
