Buffy Stats

As regular readers know, I love Internet obsessives. These people drill down so far into a subject that they seem to come out the other side with a kind of awful, often statistical clarity.

Our latest example comes from BuffyWorld. I discovered it when I was recently referencing an episode and needed to confirm something. I totally forgot about that when I discovered that they provide exhaustive statistics for each episode. For example, in Episode 1.11, you’ll find 6 occurrences of arguing, 8 screams and 103 (!) conversations. Additionally, we learn that Xander was witty 18 times and Giles takes off, cleans and replaces his glasses twice.

In most cases, acts this obsessive are acts of devotion. Occasionally, though, they’re acts of deep loathing.

Further to the big/little/good/bad country/policies/war/freedom debate going on in the above post/comments let me add these words of ultimate wisdom here:

Buffy rocks.

Don’t know about Buffy “rocking” or not, since I never watched the show. However, our resident expert in the office on all things Buffy and Angel told me that http://www.chosentwo.com is ultimate site.
