Tip for Ticket Buyers
This is may be obvious, but I thought I’d pass it on in case anyone was interested. When buying tickets through Ticketmaster (or other ticket sales sites), I’m kind of a fetishist about choosing my exact seats. This can sometimes be challenging with the intentionally-vague seating plans that Ticketmaster provides. When buying tickets, I always go to the venue’s site to find a more accurate and honest seating plan.
For example, I just bought a couple tickets to see David Byrne at The Centre in August. While the Ticketmaster map was a bit crap, the map at the Centre’s (is there a goofier name in the country?) site is excellent and highly-detailed (especially the printable PDFs). I got centre dress circle, second row. Nice.
