Booth Babes Explained
The article is overly-wrong, sloppily-written and a little pointless, but it’s the first one I’ve ever read about booth babes. For those who don’t know or can’t guess, booth babes are scantily-clad window dressing at conferences. They stand around and try to attract passing conference attendees. This article discusses E3, the big gaming conference that occurs each year. So, the attendees are pretty nerdy:
I ask if she’s comfortable with so many guys posing with her. “It’s weird when they put their arms around me,” she replies, “but then I feel them shaking and I’m like, whatever, if it’s so important to you . . . it’s funny when guys come up to me and tell me that it’s their first time touching a girl.”
Well that’s more than a little sad, isn’t it?
