Brides Don’t Use Mozilla, Apparently

For reasons which are too trivial to discuss, I recently visited WeddingBells.ca, the online home of Canada’s biggest wedding magazine. When you visit it using Internet Explorer, it looks like this. Neat, tidy, and complete with an irritating pop-up window.

Check out how it renders in Mozilla. Fancy, eh? This is why geeks like me rant about Web browsers, and why it’s really important for browser developers and Web designers to adhere to standards. An increasing portion of humans are browsing the Web using Mozilla-bred browsers. This includes most Apple users, whose demographics the ad salespeople at Wedding Bells would really dig.

Comments: One Response so far

Yeah – despite FireFox’s innovations and forward-thinking browsitude, the site is still broken. I just wish the rendered content arena was a bit more stable. Isn’t PDF humbling?!?
