What Do You Think of the Interviews?

As you may have noticed, over the past few weeks there’s been a new kind of posting around here: the interview. The first one was with the founder of Beautiful Agony, and I just posted an interview with the creator of Visitor Ville.

I’ve decided to exploit my emerging role as a “citizen-journalist” and talk to some people who work on projects that interest me. Like most of the content on this site, that’s the focus of these interviews–innovative, creative or original things that interest me. Thus far they’ve been concerned with online projects, but I’ll probably interview people about meatspace projects as well. They won’t be frequent–no more than one or two a month, I expect.

What do you think of the idea? If nothing else, they’re a brief respite from my blathering.

Pardon me for not knowing the lingo, but is “meatspace” somewhere you can go and eat a lot of tenderloin or veal or lamb or something? It sounds wonderful.

    Mmm, meatspace.

Er, I don’t know what it means, either. :)

meatspace /meet’spays/ n. The physical world, where the meat lives – as opposed to cyberspace. Hackers are actually more willing to use this term than `cyberspace’, because it’s not speculative – we already have a running meatspace implementation (the universe).
