Two Photos of Me in a Suit

Because there just isn’t enough of my face on this site, here are two photos of me in a suit (a rare enough occasion in itself). The first is a photo by Storme (pronounced Storm-ee) of Storme Photography, who took some staff photos for our forthcoming site revision. You can judge for yourself, but I highly recommend her, as she managed to render me in a manner that doesn’t scare children and small dogs.

The second is me attending a wedding with my lovely wife, in my linen suit. When I wrote about buying this suit back in July, Heather requested photos. How could I disappoint? The photos are after the jump.

You’re right. She IS lovely.

Ha! “Ladies Washroom.” Living in the U.S.A., I’ve never seen that sign. I’ve never seen a linen suit either, though I’m a fan of linen clothes myself.

Darren how tall are you? You look towering next to your wife.

I’m 6′1″. The trick is to marry a smallish wife–she makes you look taller.

Very nice!

rawr. :)

Well…being 6′1″ doesn’t hurt either. That’s much taller than the average male. Except if you are dutch. The dutch are bloody tall.

Sigh, there’s nothing like a man in a suit.

And what’s with your smile (?) in the second photo? As a bearer-of-teeth-when-she smiles, you seem awful aloof to be standing next to such a pretty lady!

The smile in the first picture looks like you know something about the person looking at you — I like that.
