Room Defender Sentry Turret

Why didn’t they have these things when I was growing up? The Room Defender (thanks, Gizmodo) is a motion detector-equipped, foam disc-shooting cannon mounted on a tripod. When someone enters its view, it issues a verbal warning. If the intruder doesn’t leave, it bombards them with foam discs. There’s even a remote control that you can use to manipulate and deactivate the device. Also handy for keeping your dog off the livingroom couch.

that’s awesome. I bought my little brother a dinosaur room defender (from the Toy Story line of expensive crap to buy for kids) when he was about 5. Alas, it didn’t shoot things, it just talked. This one is better.
