Funniest SNL Sketch Ever?
I can’t really make that claim, as I haven’t really seen that many episodes of Saturday Night Live. But, of all the sketches I’ve seen, this is definitely the most memorable. I can probably be definitive and say that this is the best Christmas SNL sketch ever. You’ve probably seen it, but it’s worth watching again. Enough with the superlatives:
The actors do an extraordinary job of playing the scene straight.

I don’t know… Eddie Murphy’s Mr. Rodgers neighbourhood bits were pretty funny around Christmas…

You’re right. This is the funniest SNL Christmas sketch ever. I’m in tears almost every time I watch it. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is the funniest SNL Sketch overall, ever (or at least in the top 5). Alec Baldwin is a fantastic host–my favourite, in fact.
I’m curious as to where you found this video, because there are a number of other SNL skits I would mind getting…(Such as the annual singing of “I don’t care what your Mamma says, Christmas time is here”)

A recent favourite (it would get serious consideration for my all-time top 10 skits) is the “soaking cork” routine. Janet Jackson couldn’t keep her composure, which is unusual, because that’s usually Jimmy Fallon’s role.

Is that the first or second Pete Schwety interview? There’s a couple of them, I think. I can’t watch it right now as I’m at work.
As for where to get these sketches, any file-sharing network (kazaa, for instance) should have them.

Tell us about you balls, Pete
Darren is right. One of the funniest SNL skits ever is the Christmas NPR radio spoof. It’s amazing that the actors were able to keep straight faces. Darren, thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten how damned funny that skit is….

Christopher Walken’s skit, “Ed Glosser: Trivial Psychic” is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

My favorite skit is The Cowbell with Will Ferrell. I have never laughed so hard in my life.

I would have to say that the Peyton Manning skit this year is really high up the ladder, when Will Forte is trying to pump his team up at halftime and plays that horrid song with a hysterical dance routine. Laugh every time I see it.

Schwety Balls - Delicious Dish
Gaystrogen Commercial
Fear Factor Junior Commercial
“Jane you ignorant slut” - Classic Weekend Update commercial with Chase and Curtain
“More cowbell” - Will Farrel
“Board Room” - Rainn Wilson
Those are all awesome. But my favorites have to be the Celebrity Jeopardy sketches. Every one of those was awesome.
