show was a St. Patrick’s Day special, and features two fantastic covers.
First, there’s the Pogues covering "Honky Tonk Women" as if they
wrote it themselves. Then there’s a great, loungy cover of "The Boys
are Back in Town" by the Cardigans. - Speaking of podcasting, Tod
Maffin is organizing a
local meetup for podcasters. - The
history of yelling "Freebird" (registration required, I think)
at concerts (like so many of my links, via Waxy). - A
tour of Pixar’s studio. Those are the coolest cubicles on the planet. - 50-photo
blends on Flickr. - Richard finds
that Vancouverites take
the bus nearly twice as much as their Seattle brethren. - Well-designed run-and-shoot game (link goes directly to Flash file) with irritating music.
