DVDs More Profitable Than VHS
In other news, the sun has risen and monkeys like to hurl their feces–no shock there. As Boing Boing reports, an open directory on MGM’s site (some IT dude is getting fired on Monday for sure) exposes this Powerpoint slide, indicating that DVDs are, on average, twice as profitable as VHS tapes. And yet they keep charging more at the box office and the concession stand and releasing mostly awful films. Hooray for capitalism.
