A Trip to the South Terminal
Today I visited the south terminal of Vancouver’s airport, to pick somebody up at the seaplane docks. We then ate dinner at the Flying Beaver pub. I’d never been before, but know it by it’s excellent reputation. I’m not alone in this, because the place–despite being kind of in the middle of nowhere–was totally packed. The food was tasty and the beer was cheap–CAN $2.50 for a pint on special!
On my way there, I stopped at a strange little plane-spotting park and took a bunch of photos. There’s a bunch of strange signs, and one of those compasses on the ground that points to destinations around the world. I also spotted some goslings and their parents.
Finally, in unrelated photo news, people seem to think this elevator self-portrait makes me look like Agent Smith.
UPDATE: Filmgoerjuan writes with this rendering of me as Agent Smith, which, admittedly, is a bit eerie.
