If you haven’t read Dan Gillmor’s great book We the Media (or don’t intend to), here’s a recording of Gillmor’s talk at South by Southwest this year:

Is big media running scared of the blogosphere? Are blogs geared up to handle this responsibility? Will the Empire Strike Back? Dan Gillmor, formerly with the big media and now a very influential grassroots media journalist is uniquely positioned to talk about these issues.

Having read the book, and heard Gillmor talk before, I’m pretty familiar with most of the anecdotes and concepts. Still, it’s a great introduction to the convergence of the blogosphere and mainstream media. Pity there’s no accompanying slides, but another excellent session from Doug Kaye at IT Conversations.
