Quick Local Plug: Cloud 9

My friend Matthew Bissett and a host of other talented people are in Cloud 9, a play by Caryl Churchill. It’s running at Havana Theatre, opening tomorrow night and running through May 28.

I haven’t seen it, but Churchill’s an excellent playwright and the cast is promising. Plus, Havana’s a good restaurant. Go for some, er, nuevo Latino cuisine and then watch the show. I should clarify that it’s not dinner theatre, though, so you need to go with enough time to eat dinner and then see the show.

Did you know that Havana was actually built to finance a film? Just an interesting piece of trivia.
