Invoicing may be my least favourite monthly job. You’d think asking people for deserved money would be fun, but it’s not. It’s tedious and administrative and takes far too much time. I recently read about Blinksale (nice looking site, too–very 37 Signals), a website that promises to reduce my invoicing blues.
We’ve set up an account, and it looks very promising. Unfortunately, I have already encountered an issue. We invoice in three different currencies (Canadian dollars, American dollars and Euros). As far as I can tell, there’s no way to set currency on a client-to-client basis. I suppose the work-around is to have three different accounts, but that’s pretty ugly and will screw up the invoice numbering. We’ve sent an enquiry to their support department, so maybe they can provide some advice.
