Another Accident Below My Building

The corner near my building is an excellent place to crash your car. Why? Because there’s an ambulance dispatch building about 40 feet from the corner. Long time readers may recall this dude who flipped his SUV outside the door of the ambulance service.

Today, there was a minor fender bender at the corner between two vans. No one looked seriously hurt. It was amusing, though, to watch the ambulance pull out of the garage, cross the street, and come to a halt. The EMTs need all their stuff, obviously, but it must have been their shortest drive ever.

  1. There’s a fire hall about half a block from me. When three workers were injured in an explosion at my building last year, the fire trucks just zoomed across the road. And, just last week, when there was some sort of fire call at the apartment behind me, the fire trucks had only the length of the ladder truck to go. I feel safe, though!

  2. Guess what… that ‘wanker’ Darren Hayes is ahead of you now in that search you were so pleased about… shame.
    😉

  3. Why so many accidents near where Darren lives? Could it be the drivers are hoping to spot the famous man himself and are not concentrating on the traffic?
