The Word on MovableType 3.2
Anil Dash is offering a lunchtime spiel on the new version of MovableType at the Blog Business Summit.
- An admin component in the new version (a ’system overview’ for supporting data about multiple blogs).
- Apparently Adobe is using MT to run their new blogs.
- They’ve got a nifty video that explains how the upgrade happens. It’s apparently really simple.
- Emphasis here is on supporting all your blogs more fluidly.
- Apparently taking steps to resolve spam issues. Anil claims that it “just does the right thing”. They’ve got a ‘junk’ folder model, similar to email spam fighting apps.
- They’ve implemented ‘feedback scoring’–what does this look like?
- They’ve apparently got over 100 new features.
- Apparently you can output Wod, PDF or slideshow from MT.
- Nice–every page of their user manual is comment-enabled.
