These People Have Been Married for 60 Years

These are Julie’s grandparents, Freda and Henry Teichcrob, at a Christmas dinner we had the other night. They’ve been married for 60 years and 9 days. That’s kind of hard to fathom, isn’t it?

Apparently the record is 80 years, but they’re on good pace to beat that.

Freda and Henry Teichcrob aren’t from Abbotsford, are they? I lived out there from 1987 to 1998, and they look familiar.

I believe that Teichcrob is a Mennonite name, and I used to go to a MB church.

60 years together is quite the accomplishment!
