Celebrity Spotted: Is Tom Selleck in Vancouver?
I was just walking up Georgia Street and passing the library. Who do I spot talking on his cell phone outside the Library Square Pub (coincidentally, the site of Monday’s electoral silliness)? Possibly Tom Selleck. He was tall, had very blue eyes and the trademark moustache.
I did a quick search to try to determine Tom’s whereabouts or current project, but to no avail. So, I can’t really claim for sure that it was him. If it wasn’t, though, it was his doppleganger.
UPDATE: Apparently Tom has brown eyes, so it was his doppleganger. What do I know?

Sadly, Tom has brown eyes - check his photos on IMDB (I say sadly because if it really was him, I’d be spending the weekend scouring the city in hopes of seeing him myself, not because there’s anything wrong with brown eyes).

There is a guy that looks exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, like Tom Selleck that works in my building down near Burrard & Hastings.
I wonder if it is him. Either way, the guy must do it on purpose.

I’m sure I saw Tim McGraw at the Red Door on Granville Wednesday night. If it wasn’t him, the guy looked exactly like him!

No, that was Tom. He wears coloured contacts to put off the stalkers :-)

Tom does have a doppelganger in Vancouver. I once saw him in the lounge at Cardero’s.

I have met Tom Selleck before he has greenish brown eyes . It depends what he has on to what color his eyes look . They look more brown than green but his eyes are greenish brown .

I’m pretty sure I just saw the Tom Selleck Doppelganger just off Burrard Street on Thurlow. He was carrying a little green briefcase which I can only assume was holding a hawaiian shirt and cut off jeans..

I was wearing contacts, In the entertainment world you have to keep under cover. I had a cafe mocha and was talking on my cell phone when I recall you had walked by. I’ll be doing a new movie soon. Hawaiian Western.

Yep there is a Tom Selleck lookalike in Vancouver. I just watched him pour all over two blonde ladies in Yaletown as they asked him for his autograph. Highly entertaining.
