This Week, Skating Worlds Collide

This week, both Canada and the US are holding their national figure skating championships. These events determine which skaters will go to Turin for the Olympics.

Suffice it say, I won’t be seeing much of Julie this weekend. Here’s her Saturday schedule:

Ha! We intentionally cleared the calendar for this coming Saturday - quite a sacrifice - but we were only planning to watch one national championship. I wish we could watch the Canadian one too - I’m particularly curious to see the skater who shares our last name.
