I Guess They Don’t Get Much Hockey Down in San Francisco

I spotted this headline from the San Francisco Gate (via AP) on Google News yesterday, and it still appears to be incorrect:

Truth be told, Team Canada downed Italy without Yashin, Ovechkin or Malkin as well.

Can you believe that in Ireland I haven’t been able to watch a single Olympic hockey game to date? They just don’t broadcast them over here.

Joe: The only game I was able to watch was the gold medal men’s game on the BBC. That’s, you know, assuming it’s not up against the curling or something the Brits have a chance in.

Can’t we get stupid dumbass sports like curling banned from the Olympics or at least banned from TV. I am watching a curling competition in total disbelief right now.

BTW: I just watched the canadian winner of the skeleton sob his way though an interview with the BBC, and his comment was “thank god I did this on the BBC before doing the canadian TV interview”. Nice moment of video.
