Going 55

I just watched an amusing, 5-minute student film in which 4 cars abide by the 55 mph speed limit and drive parallel to each other down the highway. The students are surprisingly passionate about the silliness of the speed limit, and the failure to enfore it.

That’s the best video I have seen in a long time.

I love the shot where the cars come over the horizon. Beautiful.

Good find.

It’s hilarious! And what a good way to make a point.

What point was he trying to make? That it’s okay to abide by the letter of the law while still behaving in a very unsafe manner? Funny video, but the point is rather childish.

My God! I hit the preview button for the first time. Darren, that’s mighty frightening mug shot you’ve got there. I’m going to have trouble sleeping tonight.

Chris: I agree. It’s kind of freeky

I think the point was very well made. What’s the point of a law no-one enforces, and no-one obeys? Either enforce the limit as it stands or change it.
