The Trailer for Portal Blew My Mind
I was checking out this article on the top ten games with the best physics (nerdy, I know), and followed a link to a trailer for the forthcoming game Portal. It looks mind-bending. Watch the video to the end, it just gets crazier and crazier:
So many games these days are dedicated to replicating reality. Too few take another step and toy with the virtual reality they’ve created.
It looks to be using the Half Life 2 physics engine, and apparently will ship with Half-Life 2: Episode 2.
