A Graphical History of My Hair Care

At some point in the future I’ll have no hair. I don’t think that’ll be next year, but most men’s heads, uh, head in that direction.

This morning, I realized that it takes me about 30 seconds to style my hair. I use this blue goo from Bedhead and kind of vigorously rub it around my head. And done.

Back when I was a teenager, my hair was more important (and there was more of it), so I took more time in configuring it. I don’t think the products were as efficient, either.

For your Yuletide viewing pleasure, I present a graphical history of my hair care (click for a larger version):

A History of My Hair Care

This is the hair stick, by the way. It smells great. I switched to the goo because I got a new stylist when I came home from Dublin.

Your life, I am certain, is now complete.

I am so obscenely envious I did not think of this first.

I encourage you to do it as well. We could start a website dedicated to hair care graphs through the years.

If you like diagrams then …

For me, the no-hair year, one way or another, is probably coming next year.

Fortunately, I am already hired and married.

I’ve been using this Bedhead wax for a few years now. One stick lasts almost a year and it’s super clean and easy. The best part is it doesn’t drip into my eyes when playing sports, the way a lot of products do.

JohnB: Thanks for that. That blog is so simple yet so… insightful. :)
