I’ve never seen it before, but I gather Extras is a new Ricky Gervais show about movie extras. Via the Movie Blog, in this funny six-minute bit, a potty-mouthed Kate Winslet guest stars and talks about phone sex. The audio isn’t particularly safe for work:

My favourite bits from the new season include David Bowie’s impromptu song about Ricky (and sung with the participation of just about everyone in the nightclub) “Chubby Little Loser”.
I think the Patrick Stewart clip from Season 1 and the David Bowie clip from Season 2 are probably the best things from the show. Although I loved Ian McKellan’s explanation of how he acts and the end of Andy’s agent’s date with Maggie had me laughing uncontrollably for a frighteningly long time.

Look at the Patrick Stewart clip. Hilarious.

Oh, and I’d highly recommend this scene with Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe. It starts to get really good around 2:40. Enjoy.

Andy’s agent makes the show. I have all the episodes on a DVD if you’d like to borrow them.

That show is so good. When are we finally going to get in in Canada? Boooo!

Canadians…Oh…this is terribly funny. Does anybody comment on the fact that a fanny is a totally different thing in Britain.
But–hey, what’s a few inches between the Commonwealth?
