News From Friends
In the past few days, I’ve gotten news from sundry friends and longtime readers about projects, causes and sundry stuff they’re working on. I thought I’d pass it on:
- Ryan wants to win a car, courtesy of Nissan’s robust social media campaign. That is one boxy car.
- Phillip’s been working on this interesting project for the Cultural Olympiad of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The display interface is very fancy.
- Erika is doing an Earth Run (er, walk) with David Suzuki, and looking for donations.
- Stephanie is the project manager for a cool electric vehicle project at Emily Carr. They’re having a launch party and community forum tomorrow (Friday) night (see also Facebook).
