Since graduating from the University
of Victoria with a double-major in Writing and Theatre
in 1996, I have worked in theatre in a variety of capacities.

In 2002, I completed a lighting design for Serendipity Productions at Andrew's Lane Theatre. The show was Andrew Marber's
Closer, a risque drama set in twelve different locations. Click here to see photos from this production.

I managed Epicentre Theatre, a Vancouver-based theatre company that produced
nine plays written by Canadian playwrights from 1997 to 2000. Audience
attendance grew 500% during this period.

During my time with Epicentre Theatre, I completed
lighting designs for two plays by George F. Walker:
Rumours of Our Death and Theatre of the
Film Noir.

At the University of Victoria, as part of lighting design classwork,
I completed lighting plots for theoretical productions as well as
scene work.

Reviewed theatre and dance productions for Victoria News, a
bi-weekly newspaper, as well as wrote the occasional feature article on issues in the arts.

In the summer of 1996, I produced and directed The Cost of
Living, a youth theatre production about sexuality and AIDS, touring to Kamloops and area schools.
